School Administrator Salaries

Highlights of a new 3 year contract with the Superintendant and a new 1-year contract with the school administrators are presented. 

Note that the information below is for the 2002-03 school year. ( Salaries shown were increased by 2.9% for the 03-04 year while benefits remained the same.)

It is unclear what experience is required for placement on step 1, 2, or 3. Nearly all administrators are now on step 3.

To the salary is added longevity pay for years of service. This ranges from $400 for 10 years to $800 for 20 years.

$500 per year is also budgeted for reimbursement of all school-related travel for each administrator.

$3,000 is also budgeted for all administrators to draw on to take advantage of professional workshops and/or advanced course work.

Administrators who have earned doctorate receive additional $750.

Work year for 12 month administrators is 225 days.

12 month administrators are provided with.15 holidays, 25 days vacation after 8 years, 5 personal leave days, and 5 special leave days.

Copay for insurance is 12% for a PPO and 5% for an HMO. Prescription copay is increased. Savings estimated to be 0.86% of salary account.
